Transcended
The Transcended are not characters, but rather fulfill the rolls of fate, serendipity and unseen gods. They explain strange or serendipitous happenings, and are the untimate source of many powers or abilities. They never directly manifest or interfer, but it is know with certainty they exist and effect the world in both subtle and overt ways.
Ascended
Each Ascended can receive a single Ascendancy Refinement
Echelon
Each Echelon is made of a single Altycu and any number of Tyneras Officers and Agents. Each echelon will generally have their own names for these ranks and any sub-ranks created.
Gethis
Altycu
Leader and founder of each Echelon. There is exactly one Altycu per Echelon.
While all members of an Echelon serve the Alycu, an Altycu can have a Retinue of Varlets, Minions and Recruits the serve them directly.
Altycu can resurrect anyone in their Echelon.
Lantyr
Lantyr are the officers or middle management of each Echelon. Varlets serve them, and they serve the Altycu
Three regular altycu working together can elevate an Altycu Acolyte to Regular Altycu.
Lantyr can resurrect any Varlets, Minions or Recruits that serve under them.
Varlet
A Varlet is the lowest level of the Gethis and serve a Lantyr.
Varlets can resurrect any Minions or Recruits that serve under them.
Recruits
Acolyte
An Acolyte is created from an Initiate, becoming a permanent part of their Ascended, though they can still be moved between Echelons. They will have received any modifications their Tyneras deems fit.
Acolytes age very slowly, but otherwise have normal biological requirements.
Initiate
An Initiate is created when an Outsider willingly joins with the Tyneras.
Initiates are sometimes called Questors, as their fate has not yet been written. Initiates are often shifted between Echelons and Ascended before eventually becoming an Acolyte.
An initiate will eventually become an Acolyte or Jument.
Minions
All Minions are bound to a specific Gethis or Ascended.
Jument
Jument are the servants of the Tyneras, leading and commanding noone. They have individuality, intelligence, skills, personality, preferences, habits, etc. but are completely obedient and lack any intiative. Without someone to give them commands they will simply wait and follow their standing orders indefinitely.
Normally Outsiders are turned directly into Jument, but sometimes failed Initiates and Acolytes become Jument as well.
Outsiders
Anyone who is not a Tyneras.
Veyraeld
Any Outsider who cannot become a Tyneras for whatever reason.
